Duke Trades LTD aims to provide only the highest quality work and service possible. We are happy to undertake commercial and domestic projects and produce the same superior work and service in both settings. We predominantly offer ceiling fixing and dry lining services, but we can also offer metal fabrication work and if clients wish for Duke Trades LTD to source other trades on behalf of the clients such as carpenters, tile setters and electricians etc we can also provide this service.

Cutting and Fixing Aluminium Framework
CEILING FIXER
As ceiling fixers, we fit suspended ceilings in buildings to cover up pipework, wiring, heating and air conditioning systems. In day-to-day work our duties consist of setting out, cutting and fixing aluminium framework and checking frameworks are horizontal by using spirit, laser or water levels. We fit ceiling panels to the framework and cut, shape panels to fit around lights and other fixtures. We also use hand and power tools and work from access platforms, ladders or scaffolding. We also fit insulation materials into ceiling spaces before installing panels. We also fit partitioning walls and dry lining or raised access flooring.
CEILING FIXER
DRYLINER
As dry liners, we use plasterboard panels to build internal walls, MF ceilings and raised flooring in all building such as houses, offices and shops. In day-to-day work, our duties consist of measuring and cutting plasterboard to the right sizes and angles, fix panels to timber and metal frames or ceiling joists. We use special studs and cut panels to fit around doorways and create openings for windows. When sealing joints we use fillers or adhesive tape over the seal either by hand or with a taping machine and then apply a thin layer of plaster over the tape (skimming) and then sand down the area ready for painting and decorating.

As welders, fabricators, steel erectors and sheet metal workers, we can offer many aspects of metal work from raw materials to finished products. We can fabricate all aspects of steel work including garden fencing/ gates, Juliet balconies, bespoke steelwork and steel erection of buildings.
